Which kind Fish finder is good for E-drive boat?

Most of the electric propulsion boats are relatively small, popular kayaking or catamaran.Such as the use of propulsion of boats Toqeeto.Such boats are generally relatively simple structure, not suitable for the installation of various equipment.

Therefore, the portable fish finder is more appropriate. It does not need to be installed, like the size of a cell phone. Is also more convenient to use. The key is that it does not need to reduce the use of electric propulsion battery.
The Power Supply- Most portable fish finders are powered by batteries, generally AA batteries.  Using re-chargeable batteries will greatly reduce your expenses in the long run.

Portable fish finder is also the most attractive price. The most expensive black-and-white display only 200 USD. Relative to those fixed mounted color display, generally need about $ 500.  Humminbird 345C 3.5 Portable Version, only from 270USD.

Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 TS Tiller Version Reviews

The new generation of tiller-controlled electric outboard is casting off. Faster, stronger and more attractive. Getting lightweight tenders nicely on the plane and moving sailboats up to 3tons elegantly across the sea. Unlike their predecessors, this outboard is now fully protected against complete immersion and, like all Torqeedo outboards, are equally suitable for cruising on lakes and oceans. Cruise gets more power and range from a battery bank than any other outboard and despite its immense power, it remains a flyweight - at 17.8 kg, the 2.0 T model can still be shouldered easily.

On-board computer:
The on-board computer integrated in the tiller analyses and combines information from the motor, batteries and the GPS. The motor consumption and GPS speed data are always precise. The battery information is equally precise when the Cruise is powered by the Power 26-104 because both products communicate with each other. If the Cruise is powered by other batteries, the battery charge and remaining range indicators rely on estimates derived from the battery information entered in the system's set-up menu during initial installation.
Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 Tiller Steered Outboard, Long Shaft
Key Features:
- More power per watt: superior overall efficiency, more range from a limited battery supply than any other outboard
- Up to6.5 knots
- 5 HP equivalent
- 17.5 kg (S)
- Waterproof IP 67
- Minimum weight, maximum power
- Completely waterproof (IP 67)
- On-board computer with GPS based calculation of remaining range

The Samples

1. On Argonauta 26 Trimaran

It's quality was evident just removing it from the box. Fit and finish is perfection. Installation was simple and results were beyond expectations. It moves the boat at 5 kts., at half throttle... that translates to 9+ hours of run time from two 105AH batteries at 24 volts. The motor mount is in the cockpit, so the pleasant buzz is much appreciated.
While about twice the price of a 4-stroke 6hp, I'll never buy gas, never clean a fuel system and expect never to run out of power, thanks to the readout showing energy remaining and solar panels.

2. Princecraft DL series with Cruise 2.0 L
http://2009.princecraft.com/Content/en-US/showroom3/70/DLX-Series.aspx

Battery supply: The Cruise 2.0 requires a battery voltage of 24 V. Torqeedo recommends that you use at least one lithium-manganese battery from the
Torqeedo Power series. If you choose to use a Lead-based battery, please remember that they are not resistant to high current, i.e. the capacities indicated on
the casing are not available when the batteries are to be fully discharged in a short time (e.g. 1 or 2 hours). Connection to remote throttle/steering: No
longer available with this model. For this application, we developed our new models, Cruise 2.0 R and 4.0 R. See details on pages 16/17. Saltwater use: The
Cruise R models shown on pages 14/15 are better suited for the use in salt water than this tiller version. They are also waterproof IP 67. Using the Cruise 2.0
tiller version in saltwater does require protection of the contacts and protection from complete submersion. For technical data and ordering information,

TORQEEDO Travel 1003 Electric Outboard Reviews

TORQEEDO Travel 1003 for daysailers up to 1,500 KG , tenders, dinghies and deck boats effortlessly for up to 10 hours., this motor sets a new standard for quiet, lightweight and ecologically-friendly propulsion. With a built-in ultra-efficient, lithium-manganese battery pack, Torqeedo Travel outboards deliver power and range. (Range varies depending on speed and boat type. At full throttle run time is about 30 minutes, slower speeds result in up to 6 hours or more!) Improved efficiency means users enjoy up to 30% more power compared to previous Torqeedo models. Additionally, new models are waterproof to IP67 standards. Ease-of-use is enhanced by a four-function display that shows percent of battery power remaining, speed through water and range remaining at current speed. Speed and range are calculated using an integrated GPS-receiver. An audible signal warns you when the battery charge drops to 30%. The smallest carbon footprint of any propulsion motor.
Torqeedo Travel 1003 Electric Outboard, Long Shaft

Can do everything that a 1.5/ 3 HP petrol outboard can, plus it’s environmentally friendlier, quieter, lighter and more convenient
- Audible alarm countdown: as soon as the remaining battery charge reaches 30 %, 20 % and 10 % a warning signal is given
- Completely waterproof (IP 67)
- On-board computer with GPS-based calculation of remaining range
- Solar rechargeable – including during the voyage
- Can be easily dismantled for transport and space-saving storage
- A clean affair: no matter how or where you store your Travel, there’s no risk that anything will leak out or smell
- From fully discharged, charging with the charger provided takes approximately 15 hours (Travel 1003).

  • Input Power : 1,KW
  • Volts: 29.6 V
  • Output Power Watts: 500 Watt hours (3hp equivalent)
  • Static Thrust: 68lb.
  • Integrated Battery: 400 Watt hour lithium-manganese (16 Ah @29.6V)
  • Prop Size: 11 1/2" x 8 1/8"
  • Steering Type: Twist tiller
  • Gearing: F-R continuously variable
  • Shaft: 23"
  • Weight: 29.5lb. (Short)/30.8lb. (Long)

Impressive quality and engineering. I use it on a Watertender 9.9 and my expectations have been exceeded. Range and speed are very good. I replaced a 4hp four stroke and really like a gas/oil free 30lb motor. I ran it several hours, approx. 2-4 miles and got home with 50% battery remaining. I am planning on adding a solar panel to extend the range and recharge while at the sand bar. Considering it's weight at 29.5 lbs and range of 2-16 NM depending on speed, no oil changes, water pump impellers, thermostats, tune-ups, flushing, not having to start & warm-up, not having to reach back to shift F-N-R, only twisting the throttle. This is the perfect outboard for 2 - 4HP applications. I Love It !
